凡不結嘉實之樹、終必遭伐而投諸火。

蓋審判之時機已熟；其以天主聖宅為開端、宜也。然既以吾人為開端、則一般未順天主福音之人、其結局又將如何！若義人之蒙救、猶若是其難也；則悖逆不道之人、其將何地以自容耶？

雍雍君子。何以比擬。鳳尾之棕。鬱鬱葱葱。麗盆之柏。暢茂條達。植根聖圃。霑漑化雨。

勤懇求恩主。回首一眷顧。自天注爾目。視此葡萄樹。既為爾手植。應蒙爾愛護。夙為爾碩果。而今一何苦。

見道旁鳳菓樹、就而覓菓、無所得、但有叢葉、乃曰：『願爾從此永不結實！』樹頓枯。

譬如溪畔樹。及時結嘉實。歲寒葉不枯。條鬯靡有極。

蓋青木尚遭此厄、枯木又將如何？』

昔人干犯摩西律法、根據二三人之證言、尚且殺之無貸；何況蹂躪天主聖子、輕慢聖德所本之盟血、褻瀆恩寵所自之聖神、爾謂其所當受之刑罰、更堪設想乎！『伸冤在我、報應不爽。』『惟彼上主、黜陟厥民。』吾人固知作是語者之為誰也。遭受永生天主之譴怒、可怖也已！

若其產荊棘蒺藜、則必被棄置、服咒詛結果亦惟有付諸一炬而已矣。

是故同蒙恩召之聖兄弟、盍一諦觀為吾教總宣道使及大司祭之耶穌乎！耶穌之盡忠於天主、猶摩西之盡忠於天主之第宅；而耶穌之貴於摩西亦猶建造第宅者之貴於第宅。

爾其慎旃、切勿輕忽其所發之言也。夫古人之不聽從地上施教之人者、尚不能免責矧於自天所訓而不聽從者、其能僥倖於萬一乎？
