Suddenly Jesus met them.“ Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.

But Jesus met them, saying,“ Greetings!” They came to him, held on to his feet and worshiped him.

At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.He asked her,“ Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said,“ Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”Jesus said to her,“ Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic,“ Rabboni!”( which means“ Teacher”).Jesus said,“ Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying,“ Truly you are the Son of God.”

When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

Thomas said to him,“ My Lord and my God!”

Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping.

Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.In a loud voice they were saying:“ Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:“ To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”The four living creatures said,“ Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars— I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”

The angel went to her and said,“ Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

The watchmen found me as they made their rounds in the city.“ Have you seen the one my heart loves?”Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me.

You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways. But when we continued to sin against them, you were angry. How then can we be saved?
