這時候，忽然耶穌迎面而來，說：「願你們歡喜！」她們就上前來抱住他的腳拜他。

說了這些話，她轉過身來，看見耶穌站在那裡，卻沒有認出他就是耶穌。耶穌說：「婦人，你為什麼哭呢？你在找誰？」瑪麗亞以為他是園丁，就對他說：「先生，如果是你把他抬走的，就請告訴我，你把他放在哪裡了，我好把他取回來。」耶穌對她說：「瑪麗亞！」她轉過身，用希伯來語對耶穌說：「拉波尼！」——這意思是「老師」。耶穌說：「不要碰我，因為我還沒有上到父那裡。你到我弟兄們那裡去告訴他們：我要上到我的父那裡，他也是你們的父；我要上到我的神那裡，他也是你們的神。」

船上的人都拜耶穌，說：「你真是神的兒子！」

他們看見耶穌，就拜他，不過還有人疑惑。

多馬回答耶穌，說：「我的主，我的神！」

他們就敬拜他，懷著極大的喜樂回耶路撒冷去，

在一週頭一天的清晨，耶穌復活以後，首先向茉大拉的瑪麗亞顯現。耶穌曾經從她身上趕出了七個鬼魔。她去告訴那些向來與耶穌在一起的人，他們正在悲傷、哀哭。

這時候，瑪麗亞拿了一斤極其貴重的純哪噠香液，膏抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭髮擦乾，屋子裡就充滿了香液的氣味。

我又觀看，就聽見在寶座、活物和長老們的周圍，有許多天使的聲音；他們的數目有千千萬萬。他們大聲說：「那被殺的羔羊配接受權能、財富、智慧、力量、尊貴、榮耀和頌讚！」我又聽見天上、地上、地底下和海中的一切被造之物，以及天地間的萬有，都在說：「願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀和權能，都歸於坐在寶座上的那一位，都歸於羔羊，直到永永遠遠！」四個活物就說：「阿們！」長老們也都俯伏敬拜。

看哪，我要使那些屬於撒旦會堂的，就是那些自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，而是說謊的人——看哪，我要使他們來，在你腳前下拜；他們就會知道我已經愛了你，

那日，也就是一週的頭一天，傍晚的時候，門徒們所在地方的門戶已經關上了，因為他們怕那些猶太人。耶穌出現了，站在他們當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」

天使來到她面前，說：「蒙大恩的女子，願你歡喜，主與你同在！」

她站在耶穌後面，在他的腳邊哭泣，開始用淚水沾濕耶穌的腳，再用自己的頭髮擦乾，又親吻他的腳，用香液膏抹。

最後，弟兄們，你們要歡喜！願你們得以完全，願你們得到安慰！你們要同心合意，要彼此和睦。這樣，慈愛與平安的神就會與你們同在。

你迎見那些歡喜行公義、在你的道路上記念你的人。看哪！你曾發怒，因為我們犯了罪；我們在罪中已經很久了，還能得救嗎？
