忽然，耶穌向她們迎面而來，說：“你們好。”她們就上前，抱住他的腳拜他。

馬利亞說了這話，就轉過身來，看見耶穌站在那裡，卻不知道他就是耶穌。耶穌對她說：“婦人，你為甚麼哭？你找誰呢？”馬利亞以為耶穌是園丁，就對他說：“先生，如果是你把他挪去了，請告訴我你把他放在甚麼地方，我好去搬回來。”耶穌對她說：“馬利亞！”她轉過身來，用希伯來話對他說：“拉波尼！”（就是“老師”的意思。）耶穌說：“你不要拉住我，因為我還沒有上去見父。你要到我的弟兄們那裡去，告訴他們我要上去見我的父，也是你們的父；見我的神，也是你們的神。”

船上的人都拜他，說：“你真是神的兒子。”

他們看見耶穌就拜他，但仍然有些人懷疑。

多馬對他說：“我的主！我的神！”

他們就敬拜他，歡歡喜喜地回到耶路撒冷，

禮拜日的清早，耶穌復活了，先向抹大拉的馬利亞顯現，耶穌曾經從她身上趕出七個鬼。她就去告訴那些向來和耶穌在一起的人，那時他們正在悲哀哭泣。

馬利亞拿了半公斤珍貴純正的哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭髮去擦；屋裡就滿了香膏的香氣。

我又觀看，聽見了千千萬萬天使的聲音，他們都在寶座、活物和長老的四周，大聲說：“被殺的羊羔是配得權能、豐富、智慧、力量、尊貴、榮耀、頌讚的！”我又聽見在天上、地上、地底下和海裡的一切被造之物，以及天地間的萬有，都說：“願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀、能力，都歸給坐在寶座上的那一位和羊羔，直到永永遠遠！”四個活物就說：“阿們！”眾長老也俯伏敬拜。

看哪！從撒但的一黨，就是自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，而是說謊的人中，我要使他們一些人來在你腳前下拜，並且知道我已經愛了你。

禮拜日黃昏的時候，門徒聚在一起，因為怕猶太人，就把門戶都關上。耶穌來了，站在他們中間，說：“願你們平安。”

天使進去，對她說：“恭喜！蒙大恩的女子，主與你同在！”

站在耶穌背後，挨近他的腳哭，她開始用淚水沾濕他的腳，然後用自己的頭髮擦乾，又不住地吻他的腳，並且抹上香膏。

最後，弟兄們，你們要喜樂，要完全，要受安慰，要同心，要和睦。這樣，施慈愛賜平安的神必與你們同在。

城中的守衛巡邏的時候，找著我；我就問他們：“你們有沒有看見我心所愛的？”我剛剛離開他們，就遇見我心所愛的；我把他拉住，不讓他走，等到我帶他到我母親的家，進到懷我者的內室。

你善待那些喜歡行義，在你的道路上記念你的人。看哪！你曾發怒，因為我們犯了罪；這樣的情形已經很久，我們還能得救嗎？
