And the Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian.Now his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did prosper in his hand.

But you did not learn Christ in this way,if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus,that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.Therefore, ridding yourselves of falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are parts of one another.Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,and do not give the devil an opportunity.The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather he must labor, producing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with the one who has need.Let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for edification according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear.Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.All bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice.Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

But as for you, proclaim the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self controlled, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance.Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.Likewise urge the young men to be sensible;in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified,sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative,not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.

If anyone thinks that he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord’s commandment.

Finally then, brothers and sisters, we request and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us as to how you ought to walk and please God( just as you actually do walk), that you excel even more.For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.

And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers,for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ;until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ,from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.So I say this, and affirm in the Lord, that you are to no longer walk just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their minds,

And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]][[ And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.]]

We proclaim Him, admonishing every person and teaching every person with all wisdom, so that we may present every person complete in Christ.

And He said,“ Assuredly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.”

But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison.

Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,and in your knowledge, self control, and in your self control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they do not make you useless nor unproductive in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For the one who lacks these qualities is blind or short sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’

“ Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell— and its collapse was great.”

Then it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass through, It will reach as far as the neck; And the spread of its wings will fill the expanse of your land, Immanuel.“ Be broken, you peoples, and be shattered; And listen, all remote places of the earth. Get ready, yet be shattered; Get ready, yet be shattered.Devise a plan, but it will fail; State a proposal, but it will not stand, For God is with us.”

They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I handed them down to you.

So you shall be careful to do just as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right or to the left.

for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul.Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God on the day of visitation.Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority,or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.For such is the will of God, that by doing right you silence the ignorance of foolish people.Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond servants of God.Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are harsh.For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person endures grief when suffering unjustly.

and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels.So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates.

So it will be at the end of the age: the angels will come forth and remove the wicked from among the righteous,

And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king and said,“ Amen! May the Lord, the God of my lord the king, say the same.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.

For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.

how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was beneficial, and teaching you publicly and from house to house,solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, From everlasting to everlasting! Then all the people said,“ Amen,” and praised the Lord.

“ Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take anything away from it.

to remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken by your apostles.

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night when He was betrayed, took bread;

and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

All who are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so that the name of God and our doctrine will not be spoken against.Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brothers or sisters, but must serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved. Teach and preach these principles.If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a sick craving for controversial questions and disputes about words, from which come envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions,

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother or sister who leads a disorderly life and not one in accordance with the tradition which you received from us.For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined way among you,nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a role model for you, so that you would follow our example.For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies.Now we command and exhort such persons in the Lord Jesus Christ to work peacefully and eat their own bread.

And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying,“ Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
