But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine:that aged men be temperate, grave, sober- minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,to be sober- minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:the younger men likewise exhort to be sober- minded:in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity,sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well- pleasing to them in all things; not gainsaying;not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

If any man thinketh himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him take knowledge of the things which I write unto you, that they are the commandment of the Lord.

Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk,— that ye abound more and more.For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

But Jehovah was with Joseph, and showed kindness unto him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;and in your knowledge self- control; and in your self- control patience; and in your patience godliness;and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

and it shall sweep onward into Judah; it shall overflow and pass through; it shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of its wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.Make an uproar, O ye peoples, and be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces.Take counsel together, and it shall be brought to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Now I praise you that ye remember me in all things, and hold fast the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.

Ye shall observe to do therefore as Jehovah your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

who in time past were no people, but now are the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;having your behavior seemly among the Gentiles; that, wherein they speak against you as evil- doers, they may by your good works, which they behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.Be subject to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether to the king, as supreme;or unto governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evil- doers and for praise to them that do well.For so is the will of God, that by well- doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.For this is acceptable, if for conscience toward God a man endureth griefs, suffering wrongfully.

and the enemy that sowed them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels.As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire; so shall it be in the end of the world.

Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

So shall it be in the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the righteous,

And blessed be his glorious name for ever; And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: Jehovah, the God of my lord the king, say so too.

But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.

how I shrank not from declaring unto you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house,testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said, Amen, and praised Jehovah.

What thing soever I command you, that shall ye observe to do: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles:

For I received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread;

and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Let as many as are servants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and the doctrine be not blasphemed.And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but let them serve them the rather, because they that partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. These things teach and exhort.If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but doting about questionings and disputes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received of us.For yourselves know how ye ought to imitate us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;neither did we eat bread for nought at any man’s hand, but in labor and travail, working night and day, that we might not burden any of you:not because we have not the right, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you, that ye should imitate us.For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, If any will not work, neither let him eat.For we hear of some that walk among you disorderly, that work not at all, but are busybodies.Now them that are such we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
