看见两个天使穿着白衣，在安放耶稣身体的地方坐着，一个在头，一个在脚。天使对她说：“妇人，你为什么哭？”她对他们说：“因为有人把我主移走了，我不知道他们把他放在哪里。”

他们得了启示，知道他们所服事的不是自己，而是你们。那藉着从天上差来的圣灵传福音给你们的人，现在将这些事传给你们；这些事连天使也都切望察看呢！

发现石头已经从坟墓滚开了，她们就进去，只是不见主耶稣的身体。正在为这事困惑的时候，忽然有两个人站在旁边，衣服放光。妇女们非常害怕，就俯伏在地上。那两个人对她们说：“为什么在死人中找活人呢？

彼此说：“谁要替我们把石头从墓门滚开呢？”她们抬头一看，看见石头已经滚开了，原来那石头很大。她们进了坟墓，看见一个年轻人坐在右边，穿着白袍，就很惊奇。

忽然，地大震动，甚至监牢的地基都摇动了，监门立刻全开，众囚犯的锁链也都解开了。

敬虔的奥秘是公认为伟大的：上帝在肉身显现，被圣灵称义，被天使看见，被传于外邦，被世人信服，被接在荣耀里。

忽然，殿的幔子从上到下裂为两半，地震动，磐石崩裂，坟墓也开了，有许多已睡了的圣徒的身体也复活了。耶稣复活以后，他们从坟墓里出来，进了圣城，向许多人显现。

七日的第一日清早，天还黑的时候，抹大拉的马利亚来到坟墓，看见石头已从坟墓挪开了，

于是，上帝天上的圣所开了，在他圣所中，他的约柜出现了；随后有闪电、响声、雷轰、地震、大冰雹。
