但我得甦活起來以後，要在你們以先往加利利去。』

耶穌就對她們說：『別懼怕了！去報告我的弟兄，叫他們往加利利去；在那裏他們可以看見我。』

趕緊去告訴他的門徒說：「他從死人中活了起來了；看吧，他在你們以先往加利利去；在那裏你們可以看見他。」請注意我所告訴你們的。』

後來、十一個人坐席的時候、耶穌向他們顯現，斥責他們的不信和硬心，因為他們不信那些在他活起來以後見了他的人。

他們一進城，就上了所寄住的房頂屋子；有彼得和約翰、雅各和安得烈、腓力和多馬、巴多羅買和馬太、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、和熱心派的人西門、以及雅各的兒子猶大。這些人同婦人們和耶穌的母親馬利亞、同耶穌的弟兄、都同心合意、恆心專務於禱告。當這些日子、在一處的一羣人、約有一百二十名。彼得在弟兄中間站起來，說：『同人弟兄們，聖靈藉着大衛的口豫先說到猶大的那一段經、必須得應驗。這猶大是捉拿耶穌的人的領路者；他本是被數列在我們中間的；他曾得了這執事職任的一分。（這人用不義的工錢買得了一塊園地，竟翻跟頭仆倒了，肚子爆裂，腸子迸流出來。這是住耶路撒冷的人都知道的；所以那園地按他們自己的土話叫亞革大馬，就是血園地）。因為《詩篇》書上記着說：「願他的莊舍變為荒場，沒人住在裏面」；又說：「願別人取得他的監督職分」。所以主耶穌在我們中間始終出入的時候、從約翰之施洗起、到主從我們中間被接上升的日子為止，所有同我們來往的這些人中間、必須有一位、同我們作他復活的見證。』於是他們提舉了兩個人：就是那叫巴撒巴、又稱為猶士都的約瑟、和馬提亞。就禱告說：『主啊，你是知道萬人之心的，求你從這兩人中、指明你所揀選的那位，使他取得這執事職任的地位，就是使徒職分的位置；這位分猶大已經悖棄，往自己的地方去了。』便為他們作鬮；鬮拈中了馬提亞，馬提亞就算和那十一位使徒同列了。

不但如此，如果死人真地不能得甦活起來的話，那麼我們還要被指為上帝的假證人、作證妄說上帝的呢、說他叫他所沒有甦活起來的基督活了起來！

耶穌回答他們說：『我不是揀選了你們十二個麼？你們中間竟有一個是魔鬼！』
