Then Jesus told them,“ Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there.”

Then Jesus said to them,“ Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Then Jesus said to them,“ Don’t be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me.”

For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

“ Don’t cling to me,” Jesus told her,“ since I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”

Then go quickly and tell his disciples,‘ He has risen from the dead and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see him there.’ Listen, I have told you.”

Immediately Jesus spoke to them.“ Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

The angel told the women,“ Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified.

He replied to them,“ Who are my mother and my brothers?”Looking at those sitting in a circle around him, he said,“ Here are my mother and my brothers!Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

But he said to them,“ It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

As they were saying these things, he himself stood in their midst. He said to them,“ Peace to you!”But they were startled and terrified and thought they were seeing a ghost.“ Why are you troubled?” he asked them.“ And why do doubts arise in your hearts?

“ Then he will answer them,‘ Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

“ And the King will answer them,‘ Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

For the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters,saying: I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters; I will sing hymns to you in the congregation.Again, I will trust in him. And again, Here I am with the children God gave me.Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through his death he might destroy the one holding the power of death— that is, the devil—and free those who were held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.For it is clear that he does not reach out to help angels, but to help Abraham’s offspring.Therefore, he had to be like his brothers and sisters in every way, so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in matters pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.For since he himself has suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

He replied to the one who was speaking to him,“ Who is my mother and who are my brothers?”Stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said,“ Here are my mother and my brothers!For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

But go, tell his disciples and Peter,‘ He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see him there just as he told you.’”

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love.He will not always accuse us or be angry forever.He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our iniquities.For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his faithful love toward those who fear him.As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.

So they got rid of the foreign gods among them and worshiped the LORD, and he became weary of Israel’s misery.
