安息週的第一日清早、天還黑的時候、抹大拉的馬利亞上墳墓來，看見石頭從墳墓挪開了。

有抹大拉的馬利亞、和那另一個馬利亞在那裏，對着墓坐着。

去報告的是抹大拉的馬利亞、和約亞拿、跟雅各的母親馬利亞和其餘同她們在一起的婦女。以上女人將這些事對使徒們說。

抹大拉的馬利亞就去向門徒傳信說：『我已經看見了主了』，主怎樣對她說了以上這些話。

這不是那木匠的兒子麼？他母親不是叫馬利亞，而他弟兄叫雅各、約瑟、西門、猶大麼？

那時西庇太兒子的母親同她的兩個兒子上耶穌跟前來，拜他，向他求一件事。耶穌對她說：『你願意要甚麼？』她對耶穌說：『請吩咐、叫我這兩個兒子在你國裏一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。』

還有婦女們從遠處觀看着；其中有抹大拉的馬利亞、小雅各和約瑟的母親馬利亞、和撒羅米；她們是耶穌在加利利時候跟着他服事他的人；另外還有許多跟他同上耶路撒冷的婦女。
