群卒坐而守之、

率百夫長士卒趨至、眾見千夫長與士卒、不復扑保羅、

百夫長欲護保羅、阻其謀、命能泅者、先下水登岸、

入迦百農時、有百夫長就耶穌求曰、

召百夫長二人曰、備卒二百、騎七十、持戟者二百、今夜亥初、往該撒利亞、

既定意、使我儕航海、往以大利、則以保羅及數囚解西巴士督、營之百夫長、名猶流、

試者就之曰、爾若上帝子、此石可令為餅、

保羅請百夫長至、曰、引此少者見千夫長、有事告之、

爾毀殿、三日建之、今宜自救也、爾若上帝子、可由十字架下矣、

耶穌默然、祭司長曰、當永生上帝前、我令爾誓而告我、爾果上帝子基督否、

三遣五十夫長、率卒五十、陟山拜跪於以利亞前、求曰、上帝之僕歟、請以我及我卒之命為寶。前者火自天降、燬五十夫長、及五十卒、如是者再、今請爾以我命為寶。

該撒利亞有人名哥尼流、以大利營百夫長也、
