属你的死人必活过来，他们的尸体必起来；住在尘土里的啊，当醒来欢呼！因为你的甘露像天光的甘露，地要交出阴魂。

但如今，基督已经从死人中复活，成为睡了之人初熟的果子，

我们既然相信耶稣死而复活了，照样也相信，那些藉着耶稣已经睡了的人，神将要把他们与耶稣一同带来。

他必吞灭死亡，直到永远；主耶和华必抹去各人脸上的眼泪，从全地除掉他子民的羞辱。这是耶和华说的。

看哪，我告诉你们一个奥秘：我们并不是都要睡了，而是都要被改变，

基督替我们死，为要使我们无论是醒着还是睡着，都与他一同活着。

然后他跪下，大声呼喊：“主啊，不要把这罪归于他们。”说了这话，他就睡了。

为此，你们中间有很多人是软弱的、患病的，甚至有许多人睡着了。
