我的神，我的神，你为什么离弃我？为什么远离不救我，不听我哀哼的话语？

基督在他肉身的日子里，曾经用强烈的呼号和泪水，向能救他脱离死亡的那一位献上了祈祷和恳求，就因着他的虔诚蒙了垂听。

下午三点，耶稣大声呼喊：“以罗伊，以罗伊！拉玛撒巴克达尼？”——这翻译出来就是“我的神，我的神！你为什么离弃我？”

原来，耶和华的意愿是要压伤他，使他受痛楚。当他把自己的性命作为赎罪祭时，他就必看见后裔，并且年日延绵；耶和华所喜悦的必在他手中兴盛。

这事以后，耶稣知道一切都已经完成了，为要应验经上的话，就说：“我渴了。”那里放着一个装满酸酒的容器。他们就把蘸满了酸酒的海绵套在牛膝草上，送到他的嘴边。耶稣尝了酸酒后，就说：“成了！”然后垂下头，交出了灵魂。

耶稣大声呼唤：“父啊，我把我的灵魂交托在你手中。”说完这话，就断了气。

他们说：“神已经离弃了他。追赶他，抓住他，因为没有人救他！”
