他吞了財寶，還要吐出；上帝要從他腹中掏出來。他必吸飲虺蛇的毒汁，毒蛇的舌頭必殺他。他不再看見溪流，流奶與蜜之河。他勞碌得來的要賠還，不得吞下；賺取了財貨，也不得歡樂。他欺壓窮人，棄之不顧，強取非自己所蓋的房屋。「他的肚腹不知安逸，所貪戀的連一樣也不放過，剩餘的沒有一樣他不吞吃，所以他的福樂不能長久。他在滿足有餘的時候，必有困苦臨到；凡受苦楚之人的手必加在他身上。他的肚腹正要滿足的時候，上帝必將猛烈的憤怒降在他身上；他正在吃飯的時候，上帝要將這憤怒如雨降在他身上。他要躲避鐵的武器，銅弓要將他射透。箭一抽，就從他背上出來，發亮的箭頭從他膽中出來；有驚惶臨到他身上。他的財寶隱藏在深沉的黑暗裏；有非人吹起的火要把他吞滅，把他帳棚中所剩下的燒燬。天要顯明他的罪孽，地要興起去攻擊他。他家裏出產的必消失，在上帝憤怒的日子被沖走。這是惡人從上帝所得的份，是上帝為他所定的產業。」

他接了那餅以後，撒但就進入他的心。於是耶穌對他說：「你要做的，快做吧！」

耶穌還在說話的時候，來了一羣人。十二使徒之一名叫猶大的，走在前頭，接近耶穌，要親他。耶穌對他說：「猶大，你用親吻來出賣人子嗎？」

猶大領了一隊兵，以及祭司長和法利賽人的聖殿警衛，拿着燈籠、火把和兵器來到園裏。

祭司長和文士在想法子怎樣殺害耶穌，因他們懼怕百姓。這時，撒但入了那稱為加略人猶大的心。他本是十二使徒裏的一個。他去跟祭司長和守殿官商量怎樣把耶穌交給他們。他們很高興，就約定給他銀子。他應允了，就找機會，要趁眾人不在跟前的時候把耶穌交給他們。

晚餐的時候，魔鬼已把出賣耶穌的意思放在加略人西門的兒子猶大心裏。

耶穌還在說話的時候，十二使徒之一的猶大來了，還有一大羣人帶着刀棒，從祭司長和百姓的長老那裏跟他同來。那出賣耶穌的給了他們一個暗號，說：「我親誰，誰就是。你們把他抓住。」猶大立刻進前來對耶穌說：「拉比，你好！」就跟他親吻。耶穌對他說：「朋友，你來要做的事，就做吧。」於是那些人上前，下手抓住耶穌。

惡人歡樂的聲音是暫時的，不敬虔人的喜樂不過是轉眼之間。
