Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered[ him] to be crucified.

Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

Pilate let Barabbas go free. But he had Jesus whipped. Then he handed him over to be nailed to a cross.

So Pilate released Barabbas to them. He ordered Jesus flogged with a lead tipped whip, then turned him over to the Roman soldiers to be crucified.

And[ so] Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged[ him], to be crucified.

I will therefore chastise him, and release[ him].

And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify[ him]: and the third day he shall rise again.

And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led[ him] away.

For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:And they shall scourge[ him], and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
