And while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him a message, saying,“ See that you have nothing to do with that righteous Man; for last night I suffered greatly in a dream because of Him.”

While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying,“ Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but[ that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed[ his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye[ to it].

For God speaketh once, yea twice,[ yet man] perceiveth it not.In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,That he may withdraw man[ from his] purpose, and hide pride from man.

He, that being often reproved hardeneth[ his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

He shall see of the travail of his soul,[ and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou[ art but] a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she[ is] a man’s wife.But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?Said he not unto me, She[ is] my sister? and she, even she herself said, He[ is] my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What[ is that] to us? see thou[ to that].

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he[ is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you,[ I] the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision,[ and] will speak unto him in a dream.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
