So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them,“ Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?”

As the crowds gathered before Pilate’s house that morning, he asked them,“ Which one do you want me to release to you— Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?”

So when the people gathered together, Pilate said to them,“ Whom do you want me to release for you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”

Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them,“ Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”

When therefore they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?

So when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them,“ Who is it you want me to release for you— Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Messiah?”

So after they had assembled, Pilate said to them,“ Whom do you want me to release for you, Jesus Barabbas or Jesus who is called the Christ?”

若是你們以事奉耶和華為不好，今日就可以選擇所要事奉的：是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神呢？是你們所住這地的亞摩利人的神呢？至於我和我家，我們必定事奉耶和華。」

他們喊着說：「除掉他！除掉他！釘他在十字架上！」彼拉多說：「我可以把你們的王釘十字架嗎？」祭司長回答說：「除了凱撒，我們沒有王。」

以利亞前來對眾民說：「你們心持兩意要到幾時呢？若耶和華是神，就當順從耶和華；若巴力是神，就當順從巴力。」眾民一言不答。

彼拉多說：「你們要我釋放猶太人的王給你們嗎？」他原曉得，祭司長是因為嫉妒才把耶穌解了來。只是祭司長挑唆眾人，寧可釋放巴拉巴給他們。彼拉多又說：「那麼樣，你們所稱為猶太人的王，我怎麼辦他呢？」

巡撫對眾人說：「這兩個人，你們要我釋放哪一個給你們呢？」他們說：「巴拉巴。」彼拉多說：「這樣，那稱為基督的耶穌我怎麼辦他呢？」他們都說：「把他釘十字架！」

雅各生約瑟，就是馬利亞的丈夫。那稱為基督的耶穌是從馬利亞生的。
