Now Jesus stood before the governor.“ Are you the king of the Jews?” the governor asked him. Jesus answered,“ You say so.”

Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.

Jesus was standing in front of the governor. The governor asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”“ Yes. You have said so,” Jesus replied.

Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus said,“ You have said so.”

Now Jesus was standing before Pilate, the Roman governor.“ Are you the king of the Jews?” the governor asked him. Jesus replied,“ You have said it.”

Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying,“ So You are the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said to him,“ It is as you say.”

Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying,“ Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus said to him,“ It is as you say.”

Now Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

Now Jesus stood before the governor.“ Are You the King of the Jews?” the governor asked Him. Jesus answered,“ You have said it.”

They began to accuse him, saying,“ We found this man misleading our nation, opposing payment of taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is the Messiah, a king.”So Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?” He answered him,“ You say so.”

saying,“ Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star at its rising and have come to worship him.”

In the presence of God, who gives life to all, and of Christ Jesus, who gave a good confession before Pontius Pilate, I charge you

Judas, his betrayer, replied,“ Surely not I, Rabbi?”“ You have said it,” he told him.

So Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?” He answered him,“ You say so.”And the chief priests accused him of many things.Pilate questioned him again,“ Aren’t you going to answer? Look how many things they are accusing you of!”But Jesus still did not answer, and so Pilate was amazed.

“ You have said it,” Jesus told him.“ But I tell you, in the future you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

So Pilate came out to them and said,“ What charge do you bring against this man?”They answered him,“ If this man weren’t a criminal, we wouldn’t have handed him over to you.”Pilate told them,“ You take him and judge him according to your law.”“ It’s not legal for us to put anyone to death,” the Jews declared.They said this so that Jesus’s words might be fulfilled indicating what kind of death he was going to die.Then Pilate went back into the headquarters, summoned Jesus, and said to him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”Jesus answered,“ Are you asking this on your own, or have others told you about me?”“ I’m not a Jew, am I?” Pilate replied.“ Your own nation and the chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?”“ My kingdom is not of this world,” said Jesus.“ If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, so that I wouldn’t be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.”“ You are a king then?” Pilate asked.“ You say that I’m a king,” Jesus replied.“ I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”“ What is truth?” said Pilate. After he had said this, he went out to the Jews again and told them,“ I find no grounds for charging him.

It is enough for a disciple to become like his teacher and a slave like his master. If they called the head of the house‘ Beelzebul,’ how much more the members of his household!

“ I am,” said Jesus,“ and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

You will even be brought before governors and kings because of me, to bear witness to them and to the Gentiles.
