耶稣说：“我实在告诉你，今夜鸡叫以前，你会三次不认我。”

我也知道，在我的罪恶本性里面毫无良善，我有行善的心愿，却没有行善的力量。我想行善，却不能行；我不想作恶，反倒去作。如果我不想做的，我反倒去做，这就不是我自己做的，而是住在我里面的罪做的。

耶稣说：“西门！西门！撒旦已经要求像筛麦子一样筛你们，但我已经为你祷告了，叫你不至于失去信心。你回头以后，要让你的弟兄刚强。”西门·彼得说：“主啊，我愿意和你一起坐牢，一起受死！”耶稣说：“彼得，我告诉你，明早鸡叫之前，你会三次不认我。”

耶稣说：“你真的愿意为我死吗？我实实在在地告诉你，鸡叫以前，你会三次不认我。”

弟兄姊妹，如果有人不慎犯了罪，你们顺从圣灵的人就应该温柔地挽回他，同时也要小心，免得自己也受诱惑。

这时，主转过头来望着彼得，彼得想起主对他说的话：“明早鸡叫之前，你会三次不认我。”他就到外面，痛哭起来。

谁使你与众不同呢？你有哪一样不是领受的呢？既然一切都是领受的，你为什么还自夸，好像不是领受的？

你们这些因信而蒙上帝用大能保守的人，必能得到那已经预备好、在末世要显明的救恩。

出卖耶稣的犹大看见耶稣被定了罪，感到很后悔，就把那三十块银子还给祭司长和长老，说：“我出卖了清白无辜的人，我犯罪了！”他们说：“那是你自己的事，跟我们有什么关系？”犹大把钱扔在圣殿里，出去上吊自尽了。
