“ You must not convict anyone of a crime on the testimony of only one witness. The facts of the case must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Malicious witnesses testify against me. They accuse me of crimes I know nothing about.

Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.

But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.

Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs, but they couldn’t find anything to criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy.So they concluded,“ Our only chance of finding grounds for accusing Daniel will be in connection with the rules of his religion.”

Finally, some men stood up and gave this false testimony:“ We heard him say,‘ I will destroy this Temple made with human hands, and in three days I will build another, made without human hands.’”But even then they didn’t get their stories straight!
