『同人弟兄們，聖靈藉着大衛的口豫先說到猶大的那一段經、必須得應驗。這猶大是捉拿耶穌的人的領路者；

那時十二人中的一個、那稱為加畧人之猶大的、去見祭司長，

耶穌還說着話的時候，忽然來了一羣人，那十二人中的一個、叫猶大的、走在眾人前頭。他走近了耶穌那裏，要和耶穌親嘴；耶穌對他說：『猶大，你用親嘴把人子送官麼？』左右的人見所要臨到的事，就說：『主啊，我們使刀擊打可以麼？』其中有一個人擊打了大祭司的僕人，把他的右耳削掉。耶穌回答說：『你們且容許到這地步吧！』就摸那耳朵，醫治了他。耶穌對那些上來要拿他的祭司長守殿官和長老們說：『你們出來、帶着刀棒、如同拿強盜麼？我天天同你們在殿裏，你們並沒有下手拿我呀！然而這是你們、的鐘點，黑暗的權勢了！』

耶穌還說着話的時候，十二人中的一個、猶大、隨即來到；有一羣人帶着刀棒，從祭司長經學士和長老那裏、跟他同來。把耶穌送官的曾給他們一個約號，說：『我跟誰親嘴，誰就是他；你們把他抓住，妥妥當當地帶走。』猶大來，隨即到耶穌跟前，對他說：『老師』，便熱切地和他親嘴；他們就下手捕他，抓住他。旁邊站着的有一個人拔了刀，擊了大祭司的奴僕，削掉他的一個耳朵。耶穌應時對他們說：『你們出來，帶着刀棒要捉拿我，如同拿強盜呀！我天天跟你們在一起，在殿裏教訓人，你們並沒有抓住我呀！但這是要應驗經上所說的呀。』眾門徒都離開他，逃走了。

耶穌說了這些話，就同門徒出去，到汲淪谿谷那邊。在那裏有個園子，他和門徒就進去。把耶穌送官的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌同門徒屢次聚集在那裏。於是猶大領了兵隊、和祭司長跟法利賽人的差役，帶着燈籠火把和武器來到那裏。耶穌知道所要臨到自己的一切事，就出來，問他們說：『你們找誰？』他們回答他說：『拿撒勒人耶穌。』耶穌對他們說：『我就是。』把耶穌送官的猶大也同他們站着。耶穌一對他們說：『我就是』，他們就往後退，仆倒在地上。於是耶穌又詰問他們說：『你們找誰？』他們說：『拿撒勒人耶穌。』耶穌回答說：『我已經告訴你們「我就是」；你們既是找我，就放這些人走吧』。（這是要應驗他所說過的話說：『你所給了我的人，連一個我也沒有失掉。』）西門彼得有一把刀，就抽出來，擊了大祭司的僕人，砍掉他右邊的耳朵；那僕人名叫馬勒古。於是耶穌對彼得說：『收刀入鞘！父給了我的杯、難道我不喝麼？』
