然後，他回到門徒們那裡，對他們說：「你們還在睡覺、休息嗎？看哪，時候快到了！人子被交在罪人的手裡了。

後就門徒語之曰、今寢且安、時邇矣、人子見賣於惡人手矣、

後至門徒所、謂之曰、今尚寢且安乎、時邇矣、人子見賣與罪人手矣、

後就門徒謂之曰、今可寢、且安、時近矣、人子付於惡人手矣、

既返、謂門徒曰：『爾今可臥以暫憩矣！惟時立至、人子將陷於罪人之手。

Then he returned to the disciples and said to them,“ Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.

Then cometh he to the disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

逾越節以前，耶穌知道自己離世歸父的時候到了。他一向愛世間屬自己的人，就愛他們到底。

我天天同你們在聖殿裏，你們不下手抓我。現在卻是你們的時候，黑暗掌權了。」

耶穌說了這些話，就舉目望天，說：「父啊，時候到了，願你榮耀你的兒子，使兒子也榮耀你；

他第三次來對他們說：「現在你們仍在睡覺安歇嗎？夠了，時候到了。看哪，人子被出賣在罪人手裏了。起來，我們走吧！看哪，那出賣我的人快來了。」

「我現在心裏憂愁，我說甚麼才好呢？說『父啊，救我脫離這時候』嗎？但我正是為這時候來的。

耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裏，對他說：『老師說：我的時候快到了，我要和我的門徒在你家裏守逾越節。』」

當時，十二使徒中有一個叫加略人猶大的，去見祭司長，說：「我把他交給你們，你們願意給我多少錢？」他們給了他三十塊銀錢。

「你們知道，過兩天是逾越節，人子將要被出賣，釘在十字架上。」

到了正午，以利亞嘲笑他們，說：「大聲求告吧！因為它是神明，它或許在默想，或許正忙着，或許在路上，或許在睡覺，它該醒過來了。」

年輕人哪，你在年少時當快樂；在年輕時使你的心歡暢，做你心所願做的，看你眼所愛看的；卻要知道，為這一切，上帝必審問你。
