後就門徒語之曰、今寢且安、時邇矣、人子見賣於惡人手矣、

後至門徒所、謂之曰、今尚寢且安乎、時邇矣、人子見賣與罪人手矣、

後就門徒謂之曰、今可寢、且安、時近矣、人子付於惡人手矣、

既返、謂門徒曰：『爾今可臥以暫憩矣！惟時立至、人子將陷於罪人之手。

逾越節之前，耶穌知道自己快要離開世界回到父那裡了。祂一直愛世上屬自己的人，並且愛他們到底。

我天天和你們一起在聖殿裡，你們沒有抓我。但現在正是黑暗當權、你們得勢的時候了！」

耶穌說完後，就抬頭望著天說：「父啊！時候到了，願你使你的兒子得榮耀，好讓你的兒子也使你得榮耀。

祂第三次禱告回來後，對他們說：「你們還在睡覺休息嗎？夠了，時候到了，看啊，人子要被出賣、交在罪人的手裡了。起來，我們走吧。看啊，出賣我的人已經來了！」

「我現在心裡憂傷，說什麼才好呢？求父救我離開這個時刻嗎？然而，我原是為這個時刻來的。

耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裡對他說，『老師說祂的時候到了，祂要與門徒在你家中過逾越節。』」

後來，十二門徒中的加略人猶大去見祭司長，說：「如果我把耶穌交給你們，你們肯出多少錢？」他們就給了他三十塊銀子。

「你們知道，兩天後就是逾越節，到時人子會被出賣，被釘在十字架上。」

中午時分，以利亞譏諷他們說：「喊大聲一點，他肯定是神明！也許他在沉思冥想，也許太忙了，也許出遊了，也許睡著了，需要人叫醒他！」

年輕人啊，在年輕時要快樂，要在青春歲月裡使自己的心歡暢。心裡想做什麼就去做，眼睛想看什麼就去看。然而，要切記：上帝必照你所行的一切審判你。
