He went away a second time and prayed,“ My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”

Jesus went away a second time. He prayed,“ My Father, is it possible for this cup to be taken away? But if I must drink it, may what you want be done.”

Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed,“ My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”

Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed,“ My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done.”

他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，祷告说：“我父啊，如果可能，求你使这杯离开我。然而，不是照我所愿的，而是照你所愿的。”

因为我们的大祭司并非不能体恤我们的软弱；他也在各方面受过试探，与我们一样，只是他没有犯罪。

耶和华—拯救我的上帝啊，我昼夜在你面前呼求；愿我的祷告达到你面前，求你侧耳听我的恳求！

耶稣又去祷告，说的话跟先前一样。他又来，见他们睡着了，因为他们的眼睛很困倦；他们也不知道怎么回答他。

不要转脸不顾你的仆人；我在急难之中，求你速速应允我！求你亲近我，救赎我！求你因我仇敌的缘故将我赎回！

我的上帝，我的上帝，为什么离弃我？为什么远离不救我，不听我的呻吟？我的上帝啊，我白日呼求，你不应允；夜间呼求，也不得安宁。

上帝啊，求你救我！因为众水就要淹没我。我深陷在淤泥中，没有立脚之地；我到了深水之中，波涛漫过我身。我因呼求困乏，喉咙发干；我因等候上帝，眼睛失明。

基督在他肉身的日子，曾大声哀哭，流泪祷告，恳求那能救他免死的上帝，就因他的虔诚蒙了应允。他虽然为儿子，还是因所受的苦难学了顺从。
