He went away a second time and prayed,“ My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”

Jesus went away a second time. He prayed,“ My Father, is it possible for this cup to be taken away? But if I must drink it, may what you want be done.”

Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed,“ My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”

Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed,“ My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done.”

就稍往前走，俯伏在地上禱告說：『我父啊，倘若可能，就叫這杯離開我吧；然而不要照我所願的，只要照你所願的。』

因為我們的大祭司並不是一位不能同情於我們的種種軟弱的，乃是一位在各方面同樣受過試誘、卻沒有罪的。

永恆主我的上帝啊，我日間呼救，夜間在你面前哀呼。願我的禱告達到你面前；求你傾耳聽我的喊求。

他又去禱告。又來，見他們睡着，因為他們的眼睛發沉；他們也不曉得要回答他甚麼。

不要掩面不顧你僕人哦；因為我在急難之中，求你趕快應我。求你走近我來，將我贖回；因我仇敵之緣故贖救我。

我的上帝，我的上帝，你為甚麼離棄了我？為甚麼遠離而不救我？不聽我哀哼的話呢？我的上帝啊，我白日呼求，你不應；我夜間呼求，都得不着安寧。

上帝啊，拯救我；因為大水漲到我脖子上了。我沉陷在深淤泥中，沒有立腳之地。我到了深水中；流水漫過我身。我因呼求而困乏，喉嚨發乾；我因等候上帝而眼睛失明。

基督在他肉身的日子、既用壯烈的哭號和眼淚、向那能救他脫死的獻祈求和懇請，就因了虔敬而蒙垂聽；雖是兒子，還因所受的苦而學了聽從；
