彼得说：“我就是必须和你同死，也总不能不认你。”众门徒都是这样说。

彼得和他的同伴都打盹，既清醒了，就看见耶稣的荣光，并同他站着的那两个人。

便对他们说：“我心里甚是忧伤，几乎要死；你们在这里等候，和我一同警醒。”

祷告完了，就起来，到门徒那里，见他们因为忧愁都睡着了，

到早晨太阳一出，你就起来闯城。迦勒和跟随他的人出来攻击你的时候，你便向他们见机而做。”

大卫对押尼珥说：“你不是个勇士吗？以色列中谁能比你呢？民中有人进来要害死王你的主，你为何没有保护王你的主呢？你这样是不好的！我指着永生的耶和华起誓，你们都是该死的；因为没有保护你们的主，就是耶和华的受膏者。现在你看看王头旁的枪和水瓶在哪里。”

以色列王说：“你告诉他说，才顶盔贯甲的，休要像摘盔卸甲的夸口。”

我身睡卧，我心却醒。这是我良人的声音；他敲门说：“我的妹子，我的佳偶，我的鸽子，我的完全人，求你给我开门；因我的头满了露水，我的头发被夜露滴湿。”
