Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed,“ My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying,“ My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

Going a little farther, he fell facedown and prayed,“ My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

因為我從天上下來，不是要成就自己的旨意，而是要成就差我來者的旨意。

祂以人的樣子出現後，就自願卑微，順服至死，而且死在十字架上。

祂第二次去禱告說：「我父啊！如果我非喝此杯不可，願你的旨意成就。」

耶穌繼續說：「我憑自己不能做什麼，我按父上帝的旨意審判，我的審判是公平的；因為我不是按自己的旨意行，而是按差我來者的旨意行。

基督在世為人的時候，曾經聲淚俱下地祈求能救祂脫離死亡的上帝。祂因為敬虔而蒙了應允。

然後，祂獨自走到離門徒約有扔一塊石頭那麼遠的地方跪下禱告：「父啊，若你願意，求你撤去此杯，然而，願你的旨意成就，而非我的意願。」

「我現在心裡憂傷，說什麼才好呢？求父救我離開這個時刻嗎？然而，我原是為這個時刻來的。父啊！願你使自己的名得榮耀！」當時天上有聲音說：「我已使自己的名得了榮耀，並且還要得榮耀。」

但這是為了讓世人知道我愛父，父怎麼吩咐我，我就怎麼做。起來，我們走吧！」

耶穌往前走了不遠，俯伏在地禱告，如果可以，不要讓那時刻臨到祂。祂說：「阿爸，父啊，你無所不能，求你撤去此杯。然而，願你的旨意成就，而非我的意願。」

於是，他們把石頭挪開，耶穌望著天說：「父啊，我感謝你，因為你已垂聽了我的禱告，

耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父賜給我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？」

耶穌回答說：「你們不知道自己在求什麼。我要喝的那一杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們說：「我們能。」

摩西和亞倫俯伏在以色列全體會眾面前。

亞伯蘭就俯伏在地，上帝又對他說：

摩西和亞倫就伏在地上說：「上帝啊，賜人生命的上帝啊！一人犯罪，你就要向全體會眾發怒嗎？」

但如果我使祂不悅，我也甘願聽憑祂的處置。

彷彿雨天雲中的彩虹。這是耶和華榮耀的形像。我一看見，便俯伏在地，隨後聽見有說話的聲音。

我俯伏在他腳前要拜他，他卻說：「千萬不可！我和你並那些為耶穌做見證的弟兄姊妹同是上帝的奴僕。你要敬拜上帝，因為預言的真諦就是為耶穌做見證。」

因為假基督和假先知將出現，行很大的神蹟奇事來迷惑人，如果可能，甚至要迷惑上帝揀選的子民。

他一看見彼得，就迎上去俯伏在他腳前拜他。

大衛舉目看見耶和華的天使站在天地之間，手握著已出鞘的刀，指向耶路撒冷。大衛和眾長老都身披麻衣，臉伏於地。

我們堅強的人要扶助軟弱的人，分擔他們的重擔，不該只顧自己的喜好。我們每個人都應該為他人著想，建造他人的生命。因為基督並沒有專顧自己，正如聖經上說：「辱駡你之人的辱駡都落在我身上。」

因為假基督和假先知將出現，行各種神蹟奇事，如果可能，甚至會迷惑上帝揀選的子民。

又俯伏在耶穌的腳前連連稱謝。這人是撒瑪利亞人。
