Peter said to Him,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And so said all the disciples.

彼得曰、我雖與爾同死、必不言不識爾、眾門徒亦如是言、○

伯鐸祿曰：『縱須偕子致命、亦決不相背。』餘徒亦同聲矢誠。

But Peter declared,“ Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

But Peter said,“ I may have to die with you. But I will never say I don’t know you.” And all the other disciples said the same thing.

Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you!” And all the disciples said the same.

“ No!” Peter insisted.“ Even if I have to die with you, I will never deny you!” And all the other disciples vowed the same.

“ Even if I have to die with you,” Peter told him,“ I will never deny you,” and all the disciples said the same thing.

Peter* said to Him,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” All the disciples said the same thing as well.

Peter saith unto him, Even if I must die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

“ Even if I have to die with You,” Peter told Him,“ I will never deny You!” And all the disciples said the same thing.

Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will never deny you.” And all the disciples said the same thing.

Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.” All of the disciples also said likewise.

Peter said to Him,“ Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.”

Then all the people answered together and said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” So Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.

But Jesus answered and said,“ You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him,“ We are able.”So He said to them,“ You will indeed drink My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared by My Father.”And when the ten heard it, they were greatly displeased with the two brothers.

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.

A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.

Happy is the man who is always reverent, But he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
