Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

彼得曰、我即與爾偕亡、必不言不識爾、眾門徒言亦如之、○

彼得曰、我即與爾偕亡、必不言不識爾、眾門徒言亦如之、

彼得曰、我雖與爾同死、必不言不識爾、眾門徒亦如是言、○

伯鐸祿曰：『縱須偕子致命、亦決不相背。』餘徒亦同聲矢誠。

But Peter declared,“ Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

But Peter said,“ I may have to die with you. But I will never say I don’t know you.” And all the other disciples said the same thing.

Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you!” And all the disciples said the same.

“ No!” Peter insisted.“ Even if I have to die with you, I will never deny you!” And all the other disciples vowed the same.

“ Even if I have to die with you,” Peter told him,“ I will never deny you,” and all the disciples said the same thing.

Peter* said to Him,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” All the disciples said the same thing as well.

Peter said to Him,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And so said all the disciples.

Peter saith unto him, Even if I must die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

“ Even if I have to die with You,” Peter told Him,“ I will never deny You!” And all the disciples said the same thing.

Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will never deny you.” And all the disciples said the same thing.

Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.” All of the disciples also said likewise.

Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but[ it shall be given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.And when the ten heard[ it], they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning[ here] in fear:

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

Happy[ is] the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
