人謀害我、我昔不知、譬彼羔羊、其性柔順、將就死地、人曰、當滅其生命、若伐木剝果、使名不存。

惡人在位、立法不善、爾豈佑之兮、彼也虐遇善士欲殺無辜兮、

人曰、祭司有律例、智士有箴規、先知有預言、如耶利米其言不可信、予當批其頰、而謀害之。耶利米曰、耶和華與、尚其眷顧予躬、彼欲害予、請爾鑒察、念我在爾前、代彼祈禱、望爾息怒、彼以惡報善、欲掘坎阱、以陷害予。
