For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:“ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come— in the volume of the book it is written of Me— to do Your will, O God.’”Previously saying,“ Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them”( which are offered according to the law),then He said,“ Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.Therefore not even the first covenant was dedicated without blood.For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,saying,“ This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.”Then likewise he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry.And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’

In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying,“ This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

And I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” So he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.”And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.”

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

“ As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying,“ This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

“ Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—

But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

And He said to them,“ This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.
