For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions[ that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.For where a testament[ is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.For a testament[ is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.Whereupon neither the first[ testament] was dedicated without blood.For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,Saying, This[ is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled[ it] on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

In whom we have redemption through his blood,[ even] the forgiveness of sins:

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him,[ I say], whether[ they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.

John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein[ is] no water.

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
