The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ?Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until God’s Kingdom comes.”He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke, and gave it to them, saying,“ This is my body which is given for you. On the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and continued his speech until midnight.

Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.I am the bread of life.Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”The Jews therefore contended with one another, saying,“ How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”Jesus therefore said to them,“ Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he who feeds on me, he will also live because of me.This is the bread which came down out of heaven— not as our fathers ate the manna, and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,

These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.

He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves, and he gave to his disciples to set before them, and he divided the two fish among them all.

Of these again you shall take, and cast them into the middle of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From it a fire will come out into all the house of Israel.“ The Lord Yahweh says:‘ This is Jerusalem. I have set her in the middle of the nations, and countries are around her.

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.

When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave it to them.

He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
