Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said,“ Take, eat; this is My body.”

Is the cup of blessing which we bless not a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is the bread which we break not a sharing in the body of Christ?Since there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf.

for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying,“ This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying,“ This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”Then they said to Him,“ Lord, always give us this bread.”Jesus said to them,“ I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.

On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight.

Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who believes has eternal life.I am the bread of life.Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.This is the bread that comes down out of heaven, so that anyone may eat from it and not die.I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh.”Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying,“ How can this man give us His flesh to eat?”So Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread will live forever.”

Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,

This is speaking allegorically, for these women are two covenants: one coming from Mount Sinai giving birth to children who are to be slaves; she is Hagar.Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is enslaved with her children.

And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food and broke the loaves and He gave them to the disciples again and again to set before them; and He divided the two fish among them all.

Take again some of them and throw them into the fire and burn them in the fire; from it a fire will spread to all the house of Israel.“ This is what the Lord God says:‘ This is Jerusalem; I have placed her at the center of the nations, with lands around her.

and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.

And it came about, when He had reclined at the table with them, that He took the bread and blessed it, and He broke it and began giving it to them.

And ordering the crowds to sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looked up toward heaven. He blessed the food and breaking the loaves, He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
