時去免難節兼除酵節、僅二日矣。大司祭及經生共謀所以執耶穌而置之死地；且曰：『不宜於節中行之、恐民生變。』

維時除酵節、亦稱免難節、已近、司祭長與經生正謀所以殺耶穌、第畏民眾。

『此次吾儕上耶路撒冷、人子將被付於經生司祭長、擬死、解送外邦人、受辱受撻、釘死於十字架上、至第三日復活。』

耶穌常偕其徒遊此、故奸徒茹答斯亦稔其地。

免難節既近、耶穌自知離世歸父之時將至；平生篤愛其在世之徒、至是愛之彌篤、蔑以加矣。晚餐時、魔鬼已以鬻主之意、投入西門子茹答斯依斯加略之心。

人且殺之、惟第三日復活。』諸徒為之憾然。

人子長逝、正符經言；第鬻之者、哀莫大焉！斯人之有生、不如無生之為愈也。』鬻主之徒茹答斯、起而問曰：『辣比、豈予乎？』耶穌曰：『爾言之矣。』

會猶太人之免難節將屆、節前多有自鄉間上耶路撒冷者、先行取潔、

渠不在此、已復活矣。當憶其在加利利時如何語爾；不言人子須陷於罪人之手、被釘十字架、至第三日而復活乎？』

猶太人之免難節伊邇、耶穌乃上耶路撒冷；

謂之曰：『予欲於受難前、同爾饗此免難羔、中心渴望、已非一日矣。

曰：『予賣無辜之血、獲罪實深。』若輩對曰：『此爾之事、與我何涉？』

免難節前六日、耶穌來至伯大尼、即曩所起於死中者、賴柴魯之所寓也。
