Now on the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and said,“ Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”

On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked,“ Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

It was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The disciples came to Jesus. They asked,“ Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover meal?”

Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying,“ Where will you have us prepare for you to eat the Passover?”

On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked,“ Where do you want us to prepare the Passover meal for you?”

In the first month, from the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you will eat bread made without yeast until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening.For seven days yeast must not be found in your houses, for whoever eats what is made with yeast– that person will be cut off from the community of Israel, whether a foreigner or one born in the land.You will not eat anything made with yeast; in all the places where you live you must eat bread made without yeast.’”

Then the day for the feast of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.Jesus sent Peter and John, saying,“ Go and prepare the Passover for us to eat.”They said to him,“ Where do you want us to prepare it?”He said to them,“ Listen, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters,and tell the owner of the house,‘ The Teacher says to you,“ Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’Then he will show you a large furnished room upstairs. Make preparations there.”So they went and found things just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

Now on the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed, Jesus’ disciples said to him,“ Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”He sent two of his disciples and told them,“ Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him.Wherever he enters, tell the owner of the house,‘ The Teacher says,“ Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”So the disciples left, went into the city, and found things just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

You must care for it until the fourteenth day of this month, and then the whole community of Israel will kill it around sundown.

So the disciples did as Jesus had instructed them, and they prepared the Passover.

After they arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the temple tax came to Peter and said,“ Your teacher pays the double drachma tax, doesn’t he?”He said,“ Yes.” When Peter came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first,“ What do you think, Simon? From whom do earthly kings collect tolls or taxes– from their sons or from foreigners?”

“‘ On the fourteenth day of the first month is the LORD’s Passover.And on the fifteenth day of this month is the festival. For seven days bread made without yeast must be eaten.

Observe the month Abib and keep the Passover to the LORD your God, for in that month he brought you out of Egypt by night.You must sacrifice the Passover animal( from the flock or the herd) to the LORD your God in the place where he chooses to locate his name.You must not eat any yeast with it; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast, symbolic of affliction, for you came out of Egypt hurriedly. You must do this so you will remember for the rest of your life the day you came out of the land of Egypt.There must not be a scrap of yeast within your land for seven days, nor can any of the meat you sacrifice on the evening of the first day remain until the next morning.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, is a Passover offering to the LORD.Then on the fifteenth day of the same month will be the festival of unleavened bread to the LORD; seven days you must eat unleavened bread.

So Jesus replied to him,“ Let it happen now, for it is right for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John yielded to him.

For seven days you must eat bread made without yeast, and on the seventh day there is to be a festival to the LORD.Bread made without yeast must be eaten for seven days; no bread made with yeast shall be seen among you, and you must have no yeast among you within any of your borders.You are to tell your son on that day,‘ It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.’
