从一月十四日晚上开始，直到二十一日晚上，你们都要吃无酵饼。在这七天内，你们屋里不能有酵。任何人若吃了有酵的东西，不论他是寄居者还是本地人，要将他从以色列会众中铲除。无论你们住在哪里都要吃无酵饼，不能吃有酵的食物。”

除酵节到了，那天要宰杀逾越羊羔。耶稣差派彼得和约翰出去，说：“你们为我们准备逾越节吃的晚餐。”他们问：“你要我们到哪里去预备呢？”耶稣回答说：“你们进城的时候，一个男子会扛着一瓶水迎面走来，你们要跟着他，他进哪所房子，你们也进去，对房子的主人说，‘老师问你客房在哪里，祂要和门徒在里面吃逾越节的晚餐。’那主人会带你们到楼上一间布置整齐的大房间，你们就在那里预备吧。”他们进了城，所遇见的果然和耶稣所说的一样。他们便在那里预备逾越节的晚餐。

除酵节的第一天，就是宰杀逾越节羔羊的那天，门徒问耶稣：“我们该到什么地方为你准备逾越节的晚餐呢？”耶稣就派了两个门徒，并嘱咐他们：“你们进城会看到一个人带着一瓶水迎面而来，你们就跟着他。他进哪一家，你们也跟着进去，对那家的主人说，‘我们的老师问你，祂的客房在哪里，祂要和门徒在里面吃逾越节的晚餐。’主人会带你们到楼上一间布置整齐的大房间，你们就在那里准备吧。”两个门徒出去，进了城，所遇见的果然和耶稣所说的一样。他们预备了逾越节的晚餐。

全体会众要把羊留到本月十四日，在黄昏时分宰杀，

门徒照耶稣的吩咐准备了逾越节的晚餐。

他们来到迦百农，有几个收圣殿税的来问彼得：“你们的老师不纳圣殿税吗？”彼得说“纳！”他进了屋，还没开口，耶稣便问他：“西门，你有何看法？世上的君王向谁征收赋税？向自己的儿子呢，还是向外人呢？”

“一月十四日是耶和华的逾越节，十五日开始节庆，你们要连续七天吃无酵饼。

“你们要在亚笔月为你们的上帝耶和华守逾越节，因为祂在这个月的一个晚上带领你们离开了埃及。你们要在你们的上帝耶和华选定的敬拜场所，把牛羊作为逾越节的祭牲献给祂。吃祭牲的时候，不可吃有酵的饼，七天之内要吃无酵饼，即忆苦饼，以便你们一生谨记离开埃及的日子，因为当时你们离开得很仓促。那七天之内，你们境内不可有酵母。第一天傍晚献的祭肉不可留到第二天早晨。

“一月十四日从黄昏开始是耶和华的逾越节。从一月十五日开始是耶和华的无酵节，一连七天你们必须吃无酵饼。

耶稣回答说：“你就这样做吧！我们理当这样遵行上帝一切的要求。”于是约翰答应了。

在节期的七天之内，你们只可以吃无酵饼，到了第七天，你们要为耶和华守节期。七天之内要吃无酵饼，你们境内不得有酵或是带酵的东西。那时，要告诉你们的子孙，‘这节期是纪念我们离开埃及时耶和华为我们所做的一切。’
