說：「如果我把他交給你們，你們願意給我什麼？」他們就約定給他三十個銀錢。

爾欲予我幾何、我以彼付爾、遂權金三十而予之、

and asked,“ What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.

He asked,“ What will you give me if I hand Jesus over to you?” So they counted out 30 silver coins for him.

and said,“ What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver.

and said,“ What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” So they weighed out thirty pieces of silver for him.

and said,“ What are you willing to give me to betray Him to you?” And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver.

and said,“ What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.

and said, What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they weighed unto him thirty pieces of silver.

and said,“ What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” So they weighed out 30 pieces of silver for him.

And said[ unto them], What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

and said,“ What will you give me to betray him into your hands?” So they set out thirty silver coins for him.

and said,“ What are you willing to give me, that I should deliver him to you?” They weighed out for him thirty pieces of silver.

And I said to them,“ If you like, give me my wages, whatever I am worth; but only if you want to.” So they counted out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.And the Lord said to me,“ Throw it to the potter”— this magnificent sum at which they valued me! So I took the thirty coins and threw them to the potter in the Temple of the Lord.

But if the ox gores a slave, either male or female, the animal’s owner must pay the slave’s owner thirty silver coins, and the ox must be stoned.

“ Be quiet and come with us,” they said.“ Be a father and priest to all of us. They commit adultery with their eyes, and their desire for sin is never satisfied. They lure unstable people into sin, and they are well trained in greed. They live under God’s curse.They have wandered off the right road and followed the footsteps of Balaam son of Beor, who loved to earn money by doing wrong.

The rulers of the Philistines went to her and said,“ Entice Samson to tell you what makes him so strong and how he can be overpowered and tied up securely. Then each of us will give you 1,100 pieces of silver.”

But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed.

When Judas, who had betrayed him, realized that Jesus had been condemned to die, he was filled with remorse. So he took the thirty pieces of silver back to the leading priests and the elders.“ I have sinned,” he declared,“ for I have betrayed an innocent man.”“ What do we care?” they retorted.“ That’s your problem.”Then Judas threw the silver coins down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself.

Judah said to his brothers,“ What will we gain by killing our brother? We’d have to cover up the crime.Instead of hurting him, let’s sell him to those Ishmaelite traders. After all, he is our brother— our own flesh and blood!” And his brothers agreed.So when the Ishmaelites, who were Midianite traders, came by, Joseph’s brothers pulled him out of the cistern and sold him to them for twenty pieces of silver. And the traders took him to Egypt.

( Judas had bought a field with the money he received for his treachery. Falling headfirst there, his body split open, spilling out all his intestines.

Like greedy dogs, they are never satisfied. They are ignorant shepherds, all following their own path and intent on personal gain.

He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money.
