“ At midnight the cry rang out:‘ Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

“ At midnight someone cried out,‘ Here’s the groom! Come out to meet him!’

But at midnight there was a cry,‘ Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’

“ At midnight they were roused by the shout,‘ Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet him!’

“ In the middle of the night there was a shout:‘ Here’s the groom! Come out to meet him.’

But at midnight there finally was a shout:‘ Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’

“ And at midnight a cry was heard:‘ Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’

But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.

“ In the middle of the night there was a shout:‘ Here’s the groom! Come out to meet him.’

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

But at midnight there was a shout,‘ Look, the bridegroom is here! Come out to meet him.’

“ Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me; and the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, behold, he comes!” says Yahweh of Armies.“ But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderers’ soap;

“ Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom.

Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.

He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

It shall be said in that day,“ Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”

Don’t marvel at this, for the hour comes in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice,and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.

“ But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.

Let them sing before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

then the lord of that servant will come in a day when he isn’t expecting him, and in an hour that he doesn’t know, and will cut him in two, and place his portion with the unfaithful.

About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying,“ Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

“ Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn’t walk naked, and they see his shame.”

Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.“ It is like a man, traveling to another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming, whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;lest coming suddenly he might find you sleeping.What I tell you, I tell all: Watch.”

before Yahweh; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.

“ But God said to him,‘ You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared— whose will they be?’

Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:“ Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus,who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,when he comes in that day to be glorified in his saints and to be admired among all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

They will be blessed if he comes in the second or third watch, and finds them so.But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not allowed his house to be broken into.Therefore be ready also, for the Son of Man is coming in an hour that you don’t expect him.”

Let’s rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let’s give the glory to him. For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.”It was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.He said to me,“ Write,‘ Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.’” He said to me,“ These are true words of God.”

But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.For when they are saying,“ Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first,

“ Therefore thus I will do to you, Israel; because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, Israel.
