Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help You?’

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?’

Saul said to Samuel,“ But I have obeyed Yahweh’s voice, and have gone the way which Yahweh sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.But the people took of the plunder, sheep and cattle, the chief of the devoted things, to sacrifice to Yahweh your God in Gilgal.”

You have wearied Yahweh with your words. Yet you say,‘ How have we wearied him?’ In that you say,‘ Everyone who does evil is good in Yahweh’s sight, and he delights in them;’ or‘ Where is the God of justice?’

“ Your words have been stout against me,” says Yahweh.“ Yet you say,‘ What have we spoken against you?’

“ A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, then where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is the respect due me? Says Yahweh of Armies to you, priests, who despise my name. You say,‘ How have we despised your name?’

Samuel came to Saul; and Saul said to him,“ You are blessed by Yahweh! But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus,“ Who is my neighbor?”

You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.

“ Yet you said,‘ I am innocent. Surely his anger has turned away from me.’“ Behold, I will judge you, because you say,‘ I have not sinned.’

Many will tell me in that day,‘ Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’
