他们就回答：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了、渴了、作旅客、赤身露体、病了，或在监里，却没有服事你呢？’

“那时他们也要回答说：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了，或渴了，或在异乡，或衣不蔽体，或患了病，或在监狱里，而没有服事你呢？’

「那時他們也要回答說：『主啊，我們什麼時候見你餓了，或渴了，或在異鄉，或衣不蔽體，或患了病，或在監獄裡，而沒有服事你呢？』

彼亦將應之曰、主、我何時見爾飢、渴、旅、裸、病、及在獄、而不事爾乎、

Then they themselves also will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’

“ Then they also will answer Him, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help You?’

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?’

“ Then they will also answer, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’

掃羅對撒母耳說：『我實在聽了永恆主的聲音，實在行了永恆主所差遣我走的路呀；我把亞瑪力王亞甲帶了來，又將亞瑪力人盡行殺滅歸神呀。但是眾民卻從掠物中取了那當毁滅歸神之物上好的、羊和牛，要在吉甲祭獻與永恆主你的上帝。』

你們用你們的話使永恆主厭倦了；你們還說：『我們在甚麼事情上使他厭倦呢？』那就是因為你們說：『凡行壞事的、在永恆主看來都是善，他並且喜愛他們。』或是說：『公義的上帝在哪裏呢？』

永恆主說：『你們的話說得很硬來頂撞我；你們卻還問說：「我們說甚麼話來頂撞你呢？」

『藐視我名的祭司啊，萬軍之永恆主對你們說：兒子孝敬父親，奴僕敬畏主人。我既是做父親，我在哪裏得到孝敬呢？我既是做主人，我在哪裏得到敬畏呢？而你們竟說：「我們在甚麼事上藐視你的名呢？」

撒母耳到了掃羅那裏，掃羅對他說：『願你蒙永恆主賜福；永恆主吩咐的話、我已經實行了。』撒母耳說：『那麼傳入我耳中的這羊叫的聲音、和我所聽見牛叫的聲音，都是怎麼回事啊？』掃羅說：『這是人從亞瑪力那裏帶來的，因為眾民顧惜最好的羊和牛，要祭獻與永恆主你的上帝；其餘的我們都盡行殺滅歸神了。』

那人想要自顯為對，就對耶穌說：『誰是我的鄰舍呢？』

你怎能說：「我沒有被沾污，我沒有隨從眾巴力」呢？看你的路在平谷中，就知道你所作的是甚麼——嘿，一隻迅速輕快的獨峰駝！狂奔亂闖，跑道交錯！

那領了六千的也上前來，說：「主啊，我知道你是苛刻的人，沒有撒種的地方你就收割；沒有簸散的地方你就收集，我害怕了就去，把你的六千藏在地裏；請看，這屬你的銀子、你還拿得着呢。」他主人回答他說：「又惡又懶的奴僕，你既知道我沒有撒種的地方就收割，沒有簸散的地方就收集，那你就該把我的銀子投在錢商那裏，我來的時候、可以把屬我的錢連利息都收回來呀。

然而你還說：「我無辜；主的怒氣必定向我轉消。」看吧，我一定要判罰你，因為你自己說：「我沒有犯罪。」

當那日，必有許多人要對我說：「主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳講過神言，奉你的名趕過鬼，奉你的名行過許多異能麼？」
