我若見人無衣而亡、貧者無服蔽體、其人若未得衣、為我祝嘏、其身若未以我羊羢而煖、

未欺凌人、反負者之質、不奪人之物、飢者供以食、裸者被以衣、

為旅爾不館我、裸爾不衣我、病及在獄、爾不顧我、

我於主樂甚、因爾念我之心復萌、爾素有志於此、但乏機耳、我言此、非因缺乏之故、蓋我已學、隨遇而安、我知所以處貧賤、亦知所以處富厚、隨在隨事、或飽或飢、或豐或歉、我悉諳練之矣、我賴增我力者事事克為、雖然、爾與我患難善矣、

豈非頒食於飢者、導流離之貧民、寓於爾室、見裸者而衣之、不掩面於骨肉乎、

弱者不扶之、疾者不醫之、受傷者不裹之、被驅者不反之、迷亡者不尋之、乃以強暴嚴酷制之、
