Our God approaches and is not silent; consuming fire goes ahead of him and all around him a storm rages.He summons the heavens above, as well as the earth, so that he might judge his people.He says:“ Assemble my covenant people before me, those who ratified a covenant with me by sacrifice!”

“ I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me–

My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

So then, do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of hearts. Then each will receive recognition from God.

They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one who has ears had better listen!

Therefore, although God has overlooked such times of ignorance, he now commands all people everywhere to repent,because he has set a day on which he is going to judge the world in righteousness, by a man whom he designated, having provided proof to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

For all who have sinned apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

I will eliminate from among you the rebels and those who revolt against me. I will bring them out from the land where they have been residing, but they will not come to the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

So the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to their deeds.The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each one was judged according to his deeds.Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death– the lake of fire.If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, that person was thrown into the lake of fire.
