亞當的第七世孫以諾，也曾經預言這些人說：“看，主必同他的千萬聖者降臨，

在淫亂罪惡的世代，凡把我和我的道當作可恥的，人子在他父的榮耀裡，和聖天使一起降臨的時候，也必把他當作可恥的。”

人子要在父的榮耀裡和眾天使一同降臨，那時他要照各人的行為報應各人。

耶穌對他們說：“我實在告訴你們，到了萬物更新，人子坐在他榮耀的寶座上的時候，你們這些跟從我的人，也會坐在十二個寶座上，審判以色列的十二個支派。

看哪，他駕著雲降臨，每一個人都要看見他，連那些刺過他的人也要看見他，地上的萬族都要因他哀號。這是必定的，阿們。

凡是把我和我的道當作可恥的，人子在自己與父並聖天使的榮耀裡降臨的時候，也必把他當作可恥的。

又對他說：“我實實在在告訴你們，你們要看見天開了，神的眾使者在人子的身上，上去下來。”

“我在夜間的異象中繼續觀看，看見有一位像人子的，駕著天雲而來，到萬古常存者那裡，被引領到他面前，得了權柄、尊榮和國度；各國、各族和說各種語言的人都事奉他。他的權柄是永遠的權柄，是不能廢去的；他的國度是永不毀滅的。

你們要經由我的山谷逃跑，因為山谷必伸展到亞薩；你們要逃跑，好像在猶大王烏西雅年間逃避大地震一樣。耶和華我的神必來臨，所有的聖者都與他（“與他”《馬索拉文本》作“與你”）同來。

因為主必親自從天降臨，那時，有發令的聲音，有天使長的呼聲，還有神的號聲，那些在基督裡死了的人必先復活；

耶穌回答：“你已經說了﹙“你已經說了”或譯：“這是你說的。”﹚；但我告訴你們：從今以後，你們要看見人子，坐在權能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。”

我又看見一個白色的大寶座，和坐在上面的那位。天地都從他面前逃避，再也看不見了。

得勝的，我必定賜他和我一同坐在我的寶座上，正像我得了勝和我父一同坐在他的寶座上一樣。

耶和華卻永遠坐著為王，為了施行審判，他已經設立寶座。

耶穌說：“我是。你們要看見人子，坐在權能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。”

說：“加利利人哪，為甚麼站著望天呢？這位被接升天離開你們的耶穌，你們看見他怎樣往天上去，他也要怎樣回來。”

從今以後，人子要坐在神權能的右邊。”

並且把執行審判的權柄賜給他，因為他是人子。你們不要把這事看作希奇，因為時候將到，那時所有在墳墓裡的都要聽見他的聲音，並且都要出來；行善的復活得生命，作惡的復活被定罪。

但是論到兒子，卻說：“神啊！你的寶座是永永遠遠的，你國的權杖，是公平的權杖。

半夜，有人喊叫：‘新郎來了，快出來迎接他。’
