For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

又有一个穷人，名叫拉撒路，满身脓疮，被放在财主的门口，渴望得到财主桌子上掉下来的碎渣充饥，甚至有狗来舔他的疮。后来那穷人死了，被天使们带到亚伯拉罕的怀里。接着，那财主也死了，并且被埋葬了。财主在阴间的痛苦中，举目远远地望见亚伯拉罕，又望见拉撒路在他怀里，就呼唤说：‘我父亚伯拉罕，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路用指头蘸点水，凉一下我的舌头吧，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦！’“可是亚伯拉罕说：‘孩子啊，你当想起，你一生怎样享了你的福，而拉撒路怎样受了苦；但如今他在这里受到安慰，你却在痛苦中。

他们回答说：“他会狠狠地除灭那些恶人，把葡萄园另租给按时交果子的农夫们。”

耶稣又对门徒们说：“某财主有个管家，这个管家被人控告挥霍主人的财产。财主就把管家叫来，对他说：‘我听到有关你的事，到底是什么？把你所管理的做出交代，因为你不能再当管家了。’“那管家心里说：‘主人要把我管家的任务拿去了，我能做什么呢？挖地没有力气，乞讨又感到羞耻。

如果任凭他这样下去，大家都会信他，罗马人就会来，夺取我们的圣地和国家！”

所以你应当记住你是从哪里跌落的，应当悔改，应当行你起初所做的事！否则我就要来到你那里；如果你不悔改，我就要把你的灯台从原处挪去。

我告诉你们：要藉着那不义的财富为自己结交朋友，这样当财富无用的时候，你们会被接到永恒的居所里。在最小的事上忠心的人，在很多事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义的人，在很多事上也不义。因此，你们如果在不义的财富上不忠心，谁会把真正的财富委托给你们呢？你们如果在别人的东西上不忠心，谁会把属于你们的交给你们呢？
