那领了六千的也前来，说：‘主啊，我知道你是个严厉的人，没有撒种的地方，你要收割；没有散播的地方，你要收聚。

“接着，那领了一千两银子的也上前来，说：‘主啊，我知道你是个严厉的人，不是你播种的地方，你收获；不是你投放的地方，你收集。

那領了六千的也上前來，說：「主啊，我知道你是苛刻的人，沒有撒種的地方你就收割；沒有簸散的地方你就收集，

「接著，那領了一千兩銀子的也上前來，說：『主啊，我知道你是個嚴厲的人，不是你播種的地方，你收穫；不是你投放的地方，你收集。

受一千者繼至、曰：「素知吾主刻薄寡恩、不播而穫、不散而斂；

“ The man who had received one talent also approached and said,‘ Master, I know you. You’re a harsh man, reaping where you haven’t sown and gathering where you haven’t scattered seed.

“ Now the one who had received the one talent also came up and said,‘ Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter seed.

“ Then he who had received the one talent came and said,‘ Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.

And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter;

“ Then the man who had received one talent also approached and said,‘ Master, I know you. You’re a difficult man, reaping where you haven’t sown and gathering where you haven’t scattered seed.

Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

“ He also who had received the one talent came and said,‘ Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.

又有一个来说：‘主啊，看哪，你的一锭银子在这里，我把它包在手巾里存着。我原是怕你，因为你是严厉的人；没有放下的，还要去拿，没有种下的，还要去收。’主人对他说：‘你这恶仆，我要凭你的口定你的罪。你既知道我是严厉的人，没有放下的，还要去拿，没有种下的，还要去收，

这世代的人哪，你们要看明耶和华的话。我岂向以色列作旷野呢？或作幽暗之地呢？我的百姓为何说：‘我们脱离约束，再不归向你了’？

他对父亲说：‘我服侍你这多年，从来没有违背过你的命，你并没有给我一只山羊羔，叫我和朋友一同快乐。

“凡称呼我‘主啊，主啊’的人不能都进天国；惟独遵行我天父旨意的人才能进去。

你这个人哪，你是谁，竟敢向神强嘴呢？受造之物岂能对造他的说：“你为什么这样造我呢？”

“论到你奉耶和华的名向我们所说的话，我们必不听从。我们定要成就我们口中所出的一切话，向天后烧香、浇奠祭，按着我们与我们列祖、君王、首领在犹大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上素常所行的一样；因为那时我们吃饱饭、享福乐，并不见灾祸。自从我们停止向天后烧香、浇奠祭，我们倒缺乏一切，又因刀剑饥荒灭绝。”

原来体贴肉体的，就是与神为仇；因为不服神的律法，也是不能服。

你们却亵渎我的名，说：‘耶和华的桌子是污秽的，其上的食物是可藐视的。’你们又说：‘这些事何等烦琐！’并嗤之以鼻。这是万军之耶和华说的。你们把抢夺的、瘸腿的、有病的拿来献上为祭。我岂能从你们手中收纳呢？这是耶和华说的。

他们说：‘我们禁食，你为何不看见呢？我们刻苦己心，你为何不理会呢？’看哪，你们禁食的日子仍求利益，勒逼人为你们做苦工。

‘我们整天劳苦受热，那后来的只做了一小时，你竟叫他们和我们一样吗？’

“你们还说：‘主的道不公平！’以色列家啊，你们当听，我的道岂不公平吗？你们的道岂不是不公平吗？义人若转离义行而作罪孽死亡，他是因所作的罪孽死亡。再者，恶人若回头离开所行的恶，行正直与合理的事，他必将性命救活了。因为他思量，回头离开所犯的一切罪过，必定存活，不致死亡。以色列家还说：‘主的道不公平！’以色列家啊，我的道岂不公平吗？你们的道岂不是不公平吗？”

他们对神说：‘离开我们吧！我们不愿晓得你的道。全能者是谁，我们何必侍奉他呢？’求告他有什么益处呢？

“你们为什么称呼我‘主啊，主啊’却不遵我的话行呢？

你们说：‘侍奉神是徒然的，遵守神所吩咐的，在万军之耶和华面前苦苦斋戒，有什么益处呢？如今我们称狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得建立；他们虽然试探神，却得脱离灾难。’”
