那領了五千兩銀子的，帶著另外的五千兩上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我五千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了五千兩。』

受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

受五千者至、又攜五千、曰、主予我五千、我獲五千、倍之矣、

受五他連得者至、又攜五他連得曰、主人、付我五他連得、我因之又獲五他連得、

受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」

The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said,‘ Master, you gave me five talents. See, I’ve earned five more talents.’

The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying,‘ Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned five more talents.’

“ So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’

And he that received the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: lo, I have gained other five talents.

The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said,‘ Master, you gave me five talents. Look, I’ve earned five more talents.’

And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

The one who had received the five talents came and brought five more, saying,‘ Sir, you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

Yes, a man will say,“ You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom:preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts,and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables.But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

The first came before him, saying,‘ Lord, your mina has made ten more minas.’“ He said to him,‘ Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’

But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was given to me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
