受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

受五他連得者至、又攜五他連得曰、主人、付我五他連得、我因之又獲五他連得、

受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」

The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said,‘ Master, you gave me five talents. See, I’ve earned five more talents.’

The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying,‘ Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned five more talents.’

“ So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’

And he that received the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: lo, I have gained other five talents.

我却不以性命为念，只要走完我的路程，完成我从主耶稣所领受的职分，为上帝恩典的福音作见证。

但是有人会说：“你有信心，我有行为。”把你没有行为的信心给我看，我就藉着我的行为把我的信心给你看。

我在上帝面前，并在将来审判活人死人的基督耶稣面前，凭着他的显现和他的国度郑重地劝戒你：务要传道；无论得时不得时总要专心，并以百般的忍耐和各样的教导责备人，警戒人，劝勉人。因为时候将到，那时人会厌烦健全的教导，耳朵发痒，就随心所欲地增添好些教师，并且掩耳不听真理，偏向无稽的传说。至于你，凡事要谨慎，忍受苦难，做传福音的工作，尽你的职分。至于我，我已经被浇献，离世的时候到了。那美好的仗我已经打过了，当跑的路我已经跑尽了，该信的道我已经守住了。从此以后，有公义的冠冕为我存留，就是按着公义审判的主到了那日要赐给我的；不但赐给我，也赐给凡爱慕他显现的人。

我也为此劳苦，照着他在我里面运用的大能尽心竭力。

头一个上来，说：‘主啊，你的一锭银子已经赚了十锭。’主人对他说：‘好，我善良的仆人，你既在最小的事上忠心，你有权柄管十座城。’

然而，由于上帝的恩典，我才成了今日的我，并且他所赐给我的恩典不是徒然的。我比众使徒格外劳苦；其实不是我，而是上帝的恩典与我同在。
