受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」

那领了五千两银子的，带着另外的五千两上前来，说：‘主啊，你交托给我五千两银子，请看，我另外赚了五千两。’

那領五千銀子的又帶着那另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千銀子。請看，我又賺了五千。』

那領五千的又帶着另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千。請看，我又賺了五千。』

那領五千的又帶着另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千。請看，我又賺了五千。』

得到五千銀幣的奴僕帶來了另外的五千，說，『主人，你交給我五千銀幣，請看，我又賺了五千。』

那領了三萬個銀幣的，帶著另外的三萬前來，說：‘主啊，你交了三萬給我，你看，我又賺了三萬。’

那領三萬的上前來，另外帶了三萬，說：「主啊，你交給我三萬；請看，我另外賺了三萬了。」

那領了五千兩銀子的，帶著另外的五千兩上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我五千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了五千兩。』

受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

受五他連得者至、又攜五他連得曰、主人、付我五他連得、我因之又獲五他連得、

The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five.‘ Master,’ he said,‘ you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’

The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said,‘ Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’

The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said,‘ Master, you gave me five talents. See, I’ve earned five more talents.’

The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying,‘ Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned five more talents.’

“ So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’

And he that received the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: lo, I have gained other five talents.

The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said,‘ Master, you gave me five talents. Look, I’ve earned five more talents.’

And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

The one who had received the five talents came and brought five more, saying,‘ Sir, you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’

He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’

然吾於生命置之度外、無所顧惜。但望能完成吾之行程、及所受於主耶穌之使命、以證天主恩寵之福音而已。

人將謂爾曰：『爾有信、我有行；惟爾示我以無行之信、而我將示爾以行、用徵吾信。

予在天主及黜陟幽明者、基督耶穌明鑒之下、且以基督之重臨及乘權為質、剴切命汝、努力傳道、處順毋弛、處逆毋餒。務須一秉堅忍不拔之耐德、及真實無妄之教理、以規人之過、懲人之惡、而勗人之善也。蓋時有必至、將見正道不容於世矣。滔滔者將徇其私意、好新務異各師其師；於真諦妙理、則褎如充耳、惟恐有聞；於妖言邪說、則洗耳恭聽、惟恐不聞也。吾兒當朝乾夕惕忍辱負重、毅然以光大聖道為己任、克盡司鐸之職。須知予已準備舍生致命矣。予之解脫、即在目前；予之奮鬥、不為徒勞；予之行程、已告完成；予亦何幸而得篤守信德、舍命不渝。今而後已有正義之榮冠、備以待我；一俟彼日之臨、公明之主、將以斯冠加諸我首；豈惟於我為然、凡渴望其來臨者、亦莫不然也。

此吾所為不辭勞苦一恃天主施於我躬之神力、而奮鬥者也。

一僕先至曰：「主之一金、生利十金。」主曰：「俞！忠僕哉！爾既忠於小事、可掌十邑。」

吾之得有今日、皆賴天主之寵佑；惟予黽勉勞苦、視他人有過無不及、則未辜負天主之寵佑也。雖然、是亦天主寵佑而已、初非予之功也。
