那領五千銀子的又帶着那另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千銀子。請看，我又賺了五千。』

那領五千的又帶着另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千。請看，我又賺了五千。』

那領三萬的上前來，另外帶了三萬，說：「主啊，你交給我三萬；請看，我另外賺了三萬了。」

那領了五千兩銀子的，帶著另外的五千兩上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我五千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了五千兩。』

受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

受五千者至、又攜五千、曰、主予我五千、我獲五千、倍之矣、

受五他連得者至、又攜五他連得曰、主人、付我五他連得、我因之又獲五他連得、

受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」

The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said,‘ Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’

The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying,‘ Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned five more talents.’

“ So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’

And he that received the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: lo, I have gained other five talents.

He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’

But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

But someone will say,“ You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith by my works.

I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and because of his appearing and his kingdom:Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching.For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear.They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.But as for you, exercise self-control in everything, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time for my departure is close.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.There is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved his appearing.

I labor for this, striving with his strength that works powerfully in me.

The first came forward and said,‘ Master, your mina has earned ten more minas.’“‘ Well done, good servant!’ he told him.‘ Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, have authority over ten towns.’

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
